Summers are to Dye For

I've been at it again. This time with Osage Orange sawdust, which has given me a bright golden yellow. Fleece on the first go with the sawdust:

Yarn on the second go, after extracting color from the sawdust a second time:

The roving and yarn on the right were dyed first, and both had been mordanted with alum. The skeins on the left were not mordanted, but the green one was dyed first with indigo.
I honestly think there's more color left, but I'm sort of out of items to dye.
I have to get more fleece or roving for the pending madder root and cochineal. And once I do the cochineal, I'll want to do indigo again so I can get purple by overdying the cochineal.
All the while I've been collecting lichens when they present themselves. Not enough to do anything with yet, but I still have my efforts from last winter yet to make yarn with, so no hurry.
